THUNDER BAY – A 27-year-old Thunder Bay man has been charged in connection with a child-pornography investigation.

Police, in a release issued on Wednesday, say the arrest came after an ongoing investigation linked to the making and possession of child pornography, which began after a number of suspicious files were discovered being shared by a Thunder Bay user on a torrent peer-to-peer network.

A search warrant was executed on Tuesday in the 500 block of Hartland Street.

Justin Mylses Anselmo was charged with making available child pornography, possession of child pornography and accessing child pornography.

He appeared in court on Wednesday and was remanded into custody with a future court date.
