Thunder Bay police charge 12 individuals with impaired driving offences

From Jan. 2 to Jan. 10, city police laid impaired driving offences against 12 people.

THUNDER BAY — Thunder Bay police charged 12 people with impaired driving-related offences from Jan. 2 to Jan. 10.

The following individuals face criminal charges related to impaired driving, according to a news release posted on the Thunder Bay Police Service website: 

  • Bradley Dean MACDONALD, 36, Thunder Bay
  • Richard KRUSE, 65, Thunder Bay
  • Maynard William JOHNSTON, 60, Thunder Bay
  • Brandon Russell MAKI, 39, Thunder Bay
  • Mitchell Leonard CHARLIE, 27, Thunder Bay
  • Margaret Mary Colleen GEORGE, 44, Thunder Bay
  • Sherri Lynn YOUNG, 49, Thunder Bay
  • Darren Chris BOYCE, 39, Fort Hope
  • Tabitha ANDREASON, 26, Thunder Bay
  • Kimberly PELLETIER, 51, Thunder Bay
  • Glenn Clement DESMOULIN, 66, Thunder Bay
  • Tanner Douglas HUNT, 24, Thunder Bay

Police will continue to name everyone charged with impaired driving offences in 2021. The new initiative to publish the names of individuals accused of impaired driving offences began during the 2020 Festive RIDE program in an effort to bring attention and deterrence to driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs.
