Thunder Bay police charge seven with impaired driving offences

Police are reporting the names of seven individuals charged with impaired driving offences from Jan. 28 to Feb. 8.

THUNDER BAY — City police have charged seven individuals with impaired driving offences from Jan. 28 to Feb. 8.

The following individuals have been criminally charged with impaired driving by alcohol or drugs, driving with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 milligrams or above of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood or refusing to provide a breath or blood sample: 

  • Kayla Marie BAXENDALE, 34, Thunder Bay
  • Christopher Nicholas GETZINGER, 39, Thunder Bay
  • Mahad MUSSE, 26, Thunder Bay
  • Breanne Ashley BELL, 28, Thunder Bay
  • Anastasia Victoria KARHUNEN, 22, Thunder Bay
  • David Alexander SABBE, 30, Thunder Bay
  • Frank E. NEGRO, 66, Thunder Bay

Police will continue reporting the names of individuals charged with impaired driving offences as part of an initiative to bring attention and deterrence to driving while impaired. Individuals charged with these offences also face a 90-day driver’s licence suspension from the Ministry of Transportation.

The public is encouraged to contact police if they know of a suspended driver who continues to drive in contravention of a suspension.
