UPDATED: Thunder Bay residents 80 or over can now book their COVID-19 vaccinations

Bookings may be made starting at 1:00 p.m. Thursday.

THUNDER BAY — The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is adding another age group to its eligibility list for COVID-19 vaccinations.

Starting Thursday afternoon at 1:00, anyone 80 years old or over can book an appointment for clinics that will take place between March 15 and 19.

Appointments can be made online  http://tbdhu.com/covidclinics or by telephone at 807-625-5900.

Vaccinations will be provided next week at the CLE Coliseum building, the same location where people 85 and over have been given their vaccinations.

Walk-ins will not receive service.

Vaccinations will only be provided to individuals who have confirmed appointments.

NOTE:   The  TBDHU announced early Thursday afternoon that all bookings for next week's clinics have been filled.
