THUNDER BAY – No children were on board a bus that rolled off the road on Thursday morning due to a mechanical issue.
The driver was also not on board when the parking brake failed and the bus rolled backwards off the road.
Student Transportation Services of Thunder Bay has confirmed that the incident occurred before the bus run, on Mud Lake Road.
The Bus Status App reported the issue as a mechanical breakdown.
