Thunder Bay Transit vehicle involved in motor vehicle collision

Thunder Bay Police and Thunder Bay Fire Rescue responded to a motor vehicle collision.

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay police are investigating a collision between a city bus and a car near the waterfront bus terminal.

The Thunder Bay Police Service and Thunder Bay Fire Rescue responded to a collision Tuesday morning at the corner of Camelot Street and Cumberland Street North involving a Thunder Bay Transit bus and a smaller vehicle.

The bus was struck at the left rear of the vehicle as it was passing through the intersection.

Police arrived on scene and closed off the intersection at 9:24 a.m. The scene has since been cleared and the intersection was reopened just after 11 a.m.

No injuries were reported to police.
