THUNDER BAY -- Thunder Bay has double the chances of a win at the Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship.

The city's own Trevor Bonot and Oye-Sem Won are representing Northern Ontario at the 35-team event inside the Calgary curling bubble. A former Thunder Bay resident, Karlee Jones, and her teammate Bryce Everist, are representing Nova Scotia.

Bonot and Won kick off their championship hunt on Thursday against two-time Olympic champion Kaitlyn Lawes and her partner, Connor Lawes. Jones and Everist will start on Friday morning against Landon and Elizabeth King of the Northwest Territories.
