Thunder Bay's homelessness count survey set for Saturday

Thunder Bay’s homelessness count has been set. Shelter House and the Indian Friendship Centre on Thursday announced they will be surveying the city’s homeless for a 24-hour period, starting on Saturday, Jan. 16 at 6 p.m. at each location.

Shelter House and the Indian Friendship Centre on Thursday announced they will be surveying the city’s homeless for a 24-hour period, starting on Saturday, Jan. 16 at 6 p.m. at each location.

Transportation to the Point in Time Count at the Indian Friendship Centre will be available. Hot meals will be provided.
Should weather postpone the count, it will be held the following Saturday and Sunday.

The survey seeks information on what services Thunder Bay’s homeless need.
