Thunder Bay residents were helping send a child to a summer camp Wednesday, simply by purchasing a coffee at Tim Hortons.
Wednesday is Camp Day across Canada, and all Tim Hortons locations were donating every penny from coffee sales to help children attend a camp they otherwise would not be able to afford.
Some outlets also held raffles to raise even more money.
Last year, Tim Hortons stores across the country raised $9.7-million, and three children from Thunder Bay were able to attend camps.
All funds raised in the city go toward helping local children.
