TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Increased pedestrian traffic in north core expected

The Thunder Bay Police Service would like to advise the public of potential traffic disruptions in the north core as a result of a planned peaceful protest.

The event is scheduled to take place at Waverly Park at 3 p.m. As a result motorists can expect possible traffic disruptions in the areas of Waverly Street and Red River Road near Algoma Street South around 2:30 p.m. today (Friday, June 5, 2020).

If you will be driving in the area, please consider altering your route and drive with extra caution as there may be increased pedestrian traffic.
