Traffic complaint leads to impaired charges on Hwy 17

UPSALA — A traffic complaint led to an impaired charge for a Kingston driver. 

OPP in Thunder Bay were notified of a traffic complaint on Highway 17 in Upsala. 

Officers located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. 

Through their investigation, police determined that a 60-year-old man from Kingston was impaired by alcohol.

He was arrested and charged. 

The OPP remains committed to taking alcohol/drug-impaired drivers off the roads through enforcement and public education.
