THUNDER BAY -- After experiencing five years of significant growth, traffic at the Thunder Bay airport appears to have stabilized.

At the annual general meeting of the Thunder Bay International Airport it was announced that overall passenger volumes slightly declined for the second year in a row.

Airport president Ed Schmidtke said the national economy certainly was a factor, but anticipates this will be a rebound year.
