Traffic jammed after Simpson Street crash

Motorists faced traffic tie-ups on the city’s south-side following a Simpson Street crash Monday. The crash took place just after 11 a.m.
Motorists faced traffic tie-ups on the city’s south-side following a Simpson Street crash Monday.

The crash took place just after 11 a.m. at the corner of Simpson and Donald Streets as one of the two vehicles involved was turning left onto Simpson Street.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers say paramedics brought a woman who was driving one of the vehicles involved to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre where she was treated for minor injuries.

A man who was driving the other vehicle involved in the crash was unharmed.

Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash and haven’t determined whether or not charges will be laid.
