THUNDER BAY -- New lights are expected to be activated Wednesday morning at two busy Thunder bay intersections.
Officials with the City of Thunder Bay say the lights at Valley Street and Strand Avenue, along with new lights at Golf Links Road and Riviera Drive South are expected to be activated at about 10 a.m.
The signals will rest on green for through traffic on the busier streets at both intersections , which are Valley Street and Golf Links Road. Signals on the intersecting streets, Strand Avenue and Riviera Drive South, will rest on red, unless activated by motor vehicles.
Both intersections also include pedestrian-activated push buttons to assist with pedestrian crossings.
