KENORA, Ont. – A traffic stop by OPP in Kenora has led to a seizure of drugs, cash and firearms.

Ontario Provincial Police have charged five individuals with drug-related offences in Kenora on Thursday, Aug. 1.

The charges stem from an investigation that resulted in a traffic stop in the north end of Kenora.

Police seized crystal methamphetamine, more than $3,000 in Canadian currency, a firearm and other drug paraphernalia items used for drug trafficking. The street value of the drugs seized is approximately $24,400.

As a result of the investigation, five people were arrested and charged.

The five accused were held in custody and attended bail court on Aug. 2 at the Kenora Courthouse.
