A speeding ticket has landed a 29-year-old Quebec man with drug trafficking charges.
Marathon OPP stopped a vehicle heading down Highway 17 in Pic Township on Friday. Police say during the stop the officer discovered an estimated $203,000 worth of marijuana in the vehicle. Police charged the man from Pointe-Claire, Que. with possession with the purpose of trafficking.
The man appeared in court in Thunder Bay and then transferred to the district jail.
