Traffic stop leads to four arrested, drugs seized

Four Sioux Lookout residents are facing drug-related charges following a traffic stop.

DRYDEN – Dryden OPP have arrested four individuals and seized a quantity of drugs following a traffic stop on Wednesday afternoon.

According to an Ontario Provincial Police release, officers stopped a motor vehicle Wednesday around 4:55 p.m. on Highway 17 in Dryden.

Police say the investigation led to the arrest of four individuals and the seize of cocaine, hydromorphone, oxycodone, fentanyl, morphine and suboxone.

As a result of the investigation,  Quirino AGUSTIN, 42, of Sioux Lookout, ON has been charged with six counts of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, failure to comply with release order and failure to comply with probation order.

The accused has been held in custody for a bail hearing.

Police also charged Tyler DEROUIN, 40, of Sioux Lookout with six counts of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking and failure to comply with probation order.

The accused has been released from custody and will appear in the Dryden Ontario Court of Justice to answer to the above charges.

Dana ROY, 21, of Sioux Lookout AJ SCHARDT, 33, of Sioux Lookout were both charged with six counts of possession of a schedule I substance

They were both released from custody and will appear in Dryden Ontario Court of Justice to answer to the charges.
