THUNDER BAY – PRO Kids’ Training with a Pro: The Hockey Edition is back for its fourth year. On Aug. 14, from 6 – 8 p.m., children and youth ages 5 – 13 have the chance to meet, exercise and train with their professional hockey idols.
This year’s clinic will feature local pro, Carter Hutton of the Buffalo Sabres.
Carter, assisted by up-and-coming local hockey players and trainers from Thrive Strength & Wellness, will host a two-hour clinic at the LU Hangar made up of training stations. Participants will get the chance to meet and train with all of the athletes.
Registration deadline is Aug. 7 and cost for the clinic is $50. All proceeds raised will go to PRO Kids – a registered charity that makes recreation opportunities accessible to Thunder Bay children and youth who are otherwise unable to afford program fees.
