THUNDER BAY – A 65-year-old male tractor-trailer driver has been charged after a collision Thursday morning at the intersection of Red River Road and the Thunder Bay Expressway.

Ontario Provincial Police, in a release, said the westbound transport driver, who is from Thunder Bay,  was charged with failing to stop for a red light, after allegedly blowing a red light, colliding with a south-bound van crossing Highway 11/17.

No injuries were reported in the incident, but the van did sustain extensive damage. The truck sustained light damage.
