THUNDER BAY - A tractor-trailer has overturned on Highway 11/17, just north of Red River Road on the southbound side. On the scene, an employee with Cozy Corner towing said the accident occurred around 4 a.m. Sunday, and neither of two drivers involved in the accident were seriously injured.
The highway was reduced to one lane of southbound traffic in the area immediately surrounding the transport, where crews were working to pull the truck out of the ditch. The Ontario Provincial Police could not provide any information about the accident at this time.
