THUNDER BAY — OPP have charged the operator of a tractor-trailer unit after an accident Tuesday morning on Highway 11/17 west of Thunder Bay.
Police said a transport truck was involved in a single-vehicle collision at Sunshine.
There were no reported injuries but the 22-year-old driver from Woodstock, Ont., was charged with careless driving.
A photo posted on the Facebook page Highway 11/17 Kills People showed the tractor and a portion of the trailer blocking the eastbound lane.
Traffic control had been in place, but the roadway has since reopened.
