Trio arrested for drug and weapons charges

Search warrant leads to drug and weapons charges in Beardmore.

BEARDMORE, Ont. – Ontario Provincial Police have arrested three individuals following a drug bust.

According to a media release, Greenstone OPP conducted a search warrant Nov. 8 on a residence in Beardmore.

As a result of the search, police seized a quantity of drugs and weapons.

Police arrested and charged two 30-year-olds from Greenstone and a 38-year-old from Winnipeg with drug and weapons charges.

All three accused made a brief court appearance on Nov. 9 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay by video and were remanded into custody.
