THUNDER BAY – A homeowner in Current River had her workday interrupted on Monday when a truck smashed through her deck.
The vehicle, which was travelling southbound on Hodder Avenue, smashed through a pillar and destroyed a portion of the home’s deck, leaving a trail of debris scattered through the yard.
The driver was taken to hospital to seek medical treatment.
Police are investigating. It's the second time in three days a vehicle has caused serious damage to a Thunder Bay home.
