A report on moving heavy truck traffic off Dawson Road is coming before Thunder Bay city council tonight.
Some residents living in the McIntyre Ward have expressed concern over the issue, and Coun. Trevor Giertuga has been pushing to have non-local trucks diverted to the Shabaqua extension.
In other business, city staff will be making recommendations on the urban forest master plan.
Meanwhile, Mayor Keith Hobbs will present a bravery award to a young Thunder Bay boy on behalf of Governor General David Johnston.
