Truckers killed in crash identified

Two trucks collided, killing a pair of 33-year-old drivers on Nov. 1, about 40 kilometres west of Shabaqua, Ont. (Thunder Bay Television).

THUNDER BAY – Ontario Provincial Police have identified two truck drivers killed on the morning of Nov. 1 collision on Highway 17 west of Shabaqua.

In a release issued on Friday morning, police say 33-year-old Sukhvir Sidhu of Steinbach, Man. and 33-year-old Amrit Sekhon of Calgary were killed in the incident, which saw two transport trailers collide, closing the highway for about nine hours.
