THUNDER BAY -- First responders were required to pull a driver out of her car after a two-car collision late Wednesday afternoon.
It happened at the intersection of Harbour Expressway and Carrick Street.
Police, fire and paramedics arrived to discover the driver of one of the vehicles trapped inside her car.
After a brief effort, rescue crews were able to pull the woman out safely.
The call came in just before 5 p.m., about a collision between an SUV and a passenger car.
Eastbound traffic on the Harbour Expressway was briefly stopped as police examined the scene.
It's not known yet if there were any injuries, and the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
