Two charged with drug offences in Terrace Bay

Ontario Provincial Police allege cocaine was found following routine traffic stop.

TERRACE BAY, Ont. -- A traffic stop in Terrace Bay, Ont. has led to the arrest of two males, now facing drug charges after police allege cocaine was found in their vehicle. 

Ontario Provincial Police from the Schreiber, Ont. detachment, in a release issued on Thursday, said a search of the vehicle following the traffic stop on Wednesday morning led to the discovery of the drugs. 

A 34-year-old Schreiber man faces one count of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, driving while under suspension and is accused of using a licence plate not authorized for a vehicle and operating a vehicle without insurance,

A 32-year-old Schreiber, Ont. man was charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. 

Both men have been released and will appear in court in Schreiber at a later date to answer to the charges.
