THUNDER BAY -- Thunder Bay District Health Unit has identified two additional cases of COVID-19 associated with Gorham & Ware Community School on Thursday.
Lakehead Public Schools is actively working with the TBDHU to investigate and manage any potential exposures in the school.
Parents or caregivers of students in impacted classes or cohorts will be directly contacted by a public health professional to complete an assessment and will be provided with further instructions.
Anyone else in the school setting who is not specifically contacted by public health would not be considered at elevated risk.
On Wednesday, TBDHU announced a person associated with Gorham & Ware Community School has tested positive for COVID-19.
