Two COVID-19 cases reported in the Dryden area

There are 46 active cases in the Northwestern Health Unit's service area.

KENORA, Ont. — The Northwestern Health Unit reported two new positive COVID-19 test results on Wednesday.

Both cases are in the NWHU's Dryden Health Hub area.

The health unit said it's following up with the people involved and with tracing their contacts.

Anyone who is identified as a contact for either case will hear from the health unit.

There are now 46 active cases in the NWHU's jurisdiction, including 26 in the Sioux Lookout Health Hub, 16 in the Kenora Health Hub, and four in the Dryden Health Hub.
