Two Thunder Bay residents have won a million dollar jackpot, officials with OLG announced Tuesday.
Edward Dunnill and Thuy Le Muir spent an extra dollar on their lottery ticket and as a result won the $1 million top Encore prize in the Nov. 11 Lotto Max draw.
The Encore can be played in conjunction with any printed lottery game for an extra dollar, and there is an Encore draw every day.
Dunnill told OLG officials that he plans to go on a family vacation and make some investments with his winnings.
Meanwhile, Le Muir said she will pay off some bills and will likely plan a trip to Vietnam.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Mac’s convenience store on North Edward Street.
