Two faculty members at Lakehead University went home Thursday evening with the highest honour conferred by the University for research -- the Distinguished Researcher Award.
The research done to receive these awards is one of a kind and certainly unique. One of the awards was given to Baoqiang Liao, a chemical engineering professor whose research focused on membrane filtration and its application in environmental engineering.
The other Distinguished Researcher Award was given to Alexander Serenko, a business professor who has looked at the implications of technology addiction.
Lakehead's Research and Innovation Awards of Excellence also recognized the dedication of many other researchers and students.
