Two Kashechewan men face charges after they allegedly attempted to bring alcohol into dry, remote communities.
The pair was arrested by Nishnawbe-Aski Police officers at the Moosonee LCBO.
The suspects were in possession of what's described as 255-units of various types of alcohol, which police believe was destined for a remote northern community.
The seized alcohol is valued at more than $17,000.
Alcohol is prohibited at many of the First Nation communities located along the James Bay coast, including Kashechewan.
