Two new cases of COVID-19 identified in TB area

A man in his 60s and a woman in her 50s are the area's latest coronavirus cases.

THUNDER BAY -- The Thunder Bay District Health Unit has identifed two more cases of COVID-19 in Thunder Bay and surrounding area. 

The diagnoses, which were revealed on Friday, bring the health unit's positive case number to 25. 

The first case is identified as a man in his 60s who is self-isolating and an episode date listed as March 25. The second case is a woman in her 50s, who is also self-isolating. Her episode date is listed as March 28. 

The exposure category for both is listed as pending. Both are listed as residing in Thunder Bay and surrounding area.
