Two new COVID-19 cases announced

Both cases involve males in their 40s and both are self-isolating.

THUNDER BAY – Two men in their 40s are the area’s latest confirmed COVID-19 cases.

According to the Thunder Bay District Health Unit, both people are listed as being from Thunder Bay and surrounding areas, and are self-isolating at home.

The first case has an episode date of April 5, while the second is listed as March 30.

The two new cases bring the Thunder Bay District Health Unit’s total to 23, 19 in Thunder Bay and surrounding areas and four in Nipigon.
