Two new COVID-19 cases confirmed in Thunder Bay

THUNDER BAY - Two new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have brought the total in the Thunder Bay district to 69. The Thunder Bay District Health Unit announced the cases Tuesday afternoon.

THUNDER BAY - Two new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have brought the total in the Thunder Bay district to 69. The Thunder Bay District Health Unit announced the cases Tuesday afternoon.

The cases consist of two males, one in his thirties and the other in his forties. Both are now self-isolating at home. The health unit is still investigating how the two men were exposed to the virus.

51 of the district's 69 cases are considered resolved by the health unit as of Monday at 4:30 p.m. They also reported a total of 2,922 COVID-19 tests performed, with 2,579 coming back negative and 276 under investigation.
