THUNDER BAY - The Thunder Bay District Health Unit has announced two new confirmed COVID-19 cases.
Both cases involve individuals in the Thunder Bay area who are believed to have contracted the virus through close contact with an existing case. One is a male in his twenties, the other a female in her fifties. Both are now self-isolating at home.
The district has now had 62 confirmed cases and one death from the virus, announced earlier today. 46 of those cases have been resolved.
