THUNDER BAY - A search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of Cumming Street led to the arrest of two males on drug-related charges.

As part of the joint task force Project Disruption, officers entered the residence just before 9:30 p.m. on Thursday evening. Two males fled through a window as officers entered the apartment. Both were pursued and arrested.

A subsequent search of the residence led to the seizure of crack cocaine, a substance suspected of being fentanyl, $23,000 in cash, and a replica firearm.

The street value of the drugs is estimated at $25,404.

20-year-old Dishanti Ezekiel Dillon, and 19-year-old Tyrese Oneal Wright, both from Scarborough, O.N., were charged with two counts each of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and obstructing a peace officer.

Both men have been remanded into custody for their next court appearance on May 23.
