Two sent to hospital after transport overturns near Vermilion Bay

KENORA – Two Ontario men were taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries after a single-vehicle collision on Wednesday near Vermilion Bay. Ontario Provincial Police in a release said at just before 2 p.m.

KENORA – Two Ontario men were taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries after a single-vehicle collision on Wednesday near Vermilion Bay.

Ontario Provincial Police in a release said at just before 2 p.m. they responded to a report of a transport on its side on Highway 17 west of the Northwestern Ontario community.

Police, fire, air and land ambulance attended the scene and assisted the vehicle’s two occupants from the transport.

The highway was closed for a short time, and the investigation continues.
