Two suspects sought in Mac's robbery

Clerk says suspects pulled knife, made off with cigarettes and cash.

THUNDER BAY – Two suspects are on the loose after a robbery took place just after midnight on Thursday at a Mac’s Convenience Store on Oliver Road.

Police say the two male suspects entered the store, their faces covered. One male proceeded to produce a knife and demanded the 20-year-old male clerk give him money from the till. The other suspect took a number of cigarette packages.

The first suspect is described as an Indigenous male, standing about 5-foot-8. He was wearing black pants with a white vertical stripe, a back hoodie with a distinctive Nike swoosh on the front. The second suspect had a thin build. He was wearing similar pants and a distinctive multi-coloured plaid winter jacket and a black hood.
