THUNDER BAY -- Thunder Bay Police say they have taken a male into custody following an incident overnight on the city's north side.
According to a Thunder Bay Police release, officers were initially dispatched to a residential address in the 200 block of Cumberland Street North at about 11:55 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 11 after learning a male wanted on warrants was inside.
Police say the male had barricaded himself inside the home. Police established an incident command post and began negotiations with the male.
Officers entered the home just before 8:30 a.m. and completed the arrest.
A female suspect was also arrested and taken into custody.
