Members of the TBPS Intelligence Unit had observed a man arrestable for drug-trafficking offences travelling in a car on the Thunder Bay Expressway just before 4 p.m.

They pulled the vehicle over on Hodder Avenue near Cuyler Street, and apprehended the man as well as a female who was in the vehicle.

A search turned up a quantity of fentanyl, cash, and peraphernalia consistent with trafficking.

The estimated street value of the drugs is $46,000.

The 22-year-old woman and 29-year-old man appeared in bail court Monday and were remanded.
