A woman was sent to hospital with an apparent leg injury after a multi-vehicle collision at the intersection of Algoma and River streets.

The woman’s husband, who was not in her car at the time of the collision, said she was on her way home and passing through the intersection when she was allegedly sideswiped by the driver of a GMC pick-up truck.

Police on scene could not immediately say whether charges will be laid against either driver.
