Two vehicles collide on John Street Road Sunday morning

THUNDER BAY -- Three ambulances attended to those involved in a Sunday morning collision on John Street Road but no one was seriously injured.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of John Street Road and Community Hall Road around 9:20 a.m.

Dispatch described a collision in which two people were injured, one of which was a woman who had suffered an injury to her collar bone.

A pickup truck faced west in the ditch on the scene and a hatchback also faced west in the middle of the road.

A Thunder Bay Police Service spokesman said passengers had to be extricated from the vehicles at the scene.
