Two youth charged following break and enter

DRYDEN, Ont. – Dryden Police have charged two youth after reports of a break and enter in Dryden.

According to a release, Dryden Police Service received a report of a break and enter in progress Wednesday just after midnight to a garage on Pitt Avenue.

Upon arrival, the homeowner had apprehended one of the accused and the second accused had fled the scene.

Further investigation led to charges being laid against a 17-year-old and a 15-year-old.

Under the Youth Criminal Justice Act both youths cannot be identified.
