Union Gas customers are getting good news for New Years.
The utility has confirmed that it will offer decreased rates for its customers in 2016.
Canadian Petroleum Producers spokesman David Sword says there's a couple different factors in play with this move.
“One factor is weather, which had an impact on supply and demand,” Sword said during an interview with CKPR Radio Wednesday.
The Ontario Energy Board decision will mean a savings of about $50 annually for the average customer in the Thunder Bay area.
