THUNDER BAY – Kelly and Mike Gallagher are this year’s United Way of Thunder Bay campaign co-chairs.
The United Way made the announcement on Wednesday, saying Kelly Gallagher has been a campaign team member for more than a decades.
Her husband Mike is the past chair of the board of the Regional Food Distribution Centre and has a long involvement with the United Way Leaders of the Way committee.
“Our family strongly supports the United Way community fund as our way to help other families when they need it most. We appreciate the careful process to allocate funds to 29 agencies and 59 programs in Thunder Bay and we know that every dollar we donate truly counts,” the couple said in a joint statement.
“We look forward to connecting with our donors – to share our thanks and to let them know how their donation has made a difference in our community.”
