THUNDER BAY -- The United Way of Thunder Bay and Dew Drop Inn have come together to cook and sell 400 Take Me Home Dinners on Oct. 2, 2020. The two charitable organizations are asking the community to help them reach their target of 400 meals sold by next Wednesday, Sept. 30.

There are two ways for the community to participate in the Take Me Home Dinner:

2.     Sponsor a $15 hot meal and donate it to a hungry person in Thunder Bay.

The Dew Drop Inn is sharing the kitchen with St. Anthony's Church in preparation for this fundraising Take Me Home Dinner. The menu offers St. Anthony’s Church’s signature meat loaf with mashed potatoes, a seasonal medley of roasted root vegetables and a Bennett’s Bakery dinner roll. Dessert is a Blueberry Crisp made with local blueberries.

The deadline to order is Wednesday Sept. 30, 2020. Orders can be made online at: https://uwaytbay.ca/takemehomedinner/
