THUNDER BAY – Synergy North says up to 1,700 customers are without power following two separate outages affecting both the south and north side of the city.

About 1,300 customers are affected by an outage due to downed wires at the Mapleward station.

Another 400 affected by an outage at the Balsam station.

Crews are out working to restore the power and Synergy North asks the public to be patient while the work is completed.
