OPP Media Update
(FORT FRANCES, ON) – On January 5, 2012 at approximately 10:10 p.m. the Rainy River District Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a male who had barricaded himself in a residence on 200 Block of Second Street East in Fort Frances, ON.
At approximately 9:35 a.m. a 34 year old man from Fort Frances surrendered to police and was taken into custody.
All roads have since been open to the public.
The OPP wish to thank the residence of the Rainy River District to their cooperation at this time
