Robert Paul Gillis contacted the Thunder Bay Police at 10:30 this morning and advised that he was willing to turn himself into police.
Patrol Officers were dispatched to him at a Red River Road location and took him into custody without incident on the existing Canada Wide Parole Warrant.
Gillis is currently in custody and will appear in court.

Thunder Bay Police is looking for assistance in locating an arrestable male with a Canada Wide Parole Warrant. Robert Paul GILLIS is believed to be in the Thunder Bay area after travelling from Winnipeg.
GILLIS is 48 years old, 5'7" and 194 pounds.
GILLIS is bald and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans and wearing red running shoes.
He may be operating a red Ford Ranger wih Manitoba licence plates. If located do not approach GILLIS and contact police immediately.
